The turnaround time for photo galleries varies based on the type of session or service.
- For engagements/ couples and portraits it's about 2 weeks.
- For weddings and elopements: We generally send about 10 photos the next day for a Sneak Peek, and the full gallery is around six to ten weeks after the wedding date. These dates and times are subject to change depending on holidays, and our busy season (June - October), but our max time back would be sixteen weeks.
Question #2: How many photos come with the gallery?
We do not have a photo limit unless requested by the client. We want to provide our clients with all clear and clean photos that are taken to give the couple as many photo options as possible.
We do not send RAW or unedited photos to clients. Our editing style is signature to the Culture Studios look. We suggest that clients look at our Instagram feed, or request our Look Book PDF, to get a sense of our company's editing style before you book with us.
If you are unhappy with the edits you receive within your gallery, we do offer one re-edit for free. This includes an in-person meeting going through the photos one-on-one and editing a few of the images together to gain perspective of what would be a better fit, and then we will re-edit your entire gallery with that style instead. This does elongate the time until you receive your final product, however.
We require a 50% non-refundable down payment for all sessions in order to hold your date. The remaining payment is due the day of the session and will be automatically charged when the session begins. For weddings and elopements, we require a $500 non-refundable down payment, along with your signed contract in order to hold your date. Culture Studios does offer an assortment of payment plans for clients to choose from, though final payments are expected to be made in full a week prior to your wedding or elopement.
We do require a second shooter, minimally. If a client books a photos-only session, there will be a second shooter present. If a client books both a photo and video session, we often send a third shooter and depending on the size of the venue, we may even send a fourth to assure you have all of the proper angles you would like. Rest assured, however, on-site third and fourth shooters are silent and typically follow the lead photographer and videographer at your sessions!
For destination weddings, we do require travel expenses to be covered. This includes: flights, hotel stays, and any other accommodations during that time. We understand that hosting a destination wedding can be expensive, so we do offer a reduced price for our services for any international wedding. We typically request that we are flown in the day before in order to get the opportunity to scope out the venue properly, and then flown out the day after the wedding. This may vary based on location and other agreements made between the client and Culture Studios in their inquiry meetings.
Here at Culture Studios, we pride ourselves on displaying our clients' authenticity. As a result, we do not photoshop our clients' overall appearance outside of the traditional blemish/marks removal.
